Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Rockingham County, North Carolina. The job is on a busy housing site. You will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
