Backhoe operator • Wright County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Wright County, Iowa. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day to day you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
