Join our team: we are hiring a nursery worker in Gilliam County, Oregon. You will work in a botanical garden. The role involves dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting 4+ years on the tools preferred.
