Head baker — Kootenai County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Kootenai County, Idaho. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Day-to-day duties: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Score the top of loaves before baking • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
