Waitress — Orleans County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a waitress in Orleans County, New York. The job is in a quick-service restaurant. Your main tasks: • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad Requirements: • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel Rotating shifts.
