You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping The role involves record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches.
