We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundworker in Atchison County, Kansas. The job is on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
