Press operator — Tuscola County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Tuscola County, Michigan. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; record output and downtime on the production sheet; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
