Tiler — Jefferson Davis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiler in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi. The job is at a busy tiling site. Day-to-day duties: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency What we are looking for: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience 2+ years on the tools preferred.
