Brick mason — Coahoma County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Coahoma County, Mississippi. You will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
