Bricklayer wanted in Logan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Logan County, Nebraska. You will be based on a new-build development. On a typical shift you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Part-time with flexible hours.
