Rebar fixer • Sandamu, Katsina State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Sandamu, Katsina State. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
