Press setter operator • Blaenau Gwent, Wales

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press setter operator in Blaenau Gwent, Wales. Day to day you will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred 1+ years on the tools preferred.
