Press operator — Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Washington County, Arkansas. You will work at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $220 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
