Fabrication workshop technician — Oneida County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Oneida County, Idaho. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. You should have: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Day to day you will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter.
