Vacancy available: CNC mill setter-operator (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Hanover County, Virginia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
