Mechanical press operator wanted in Highland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Highland, Scotland. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. You should have: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout You will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed.
