Overlocker operator wanted in Pottawatomie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 3+ years on the tools preferred.
