Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Obudu, Cross River State. You will work at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. ₦175,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
