Industrial sewing operator — Delaware County

Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Delaware County, Ohio. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 6+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
