Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Holt County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Holt County, Missouri. The job is at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
