Earthmoving plant operator • Marion County, Ohio

Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Marion County, Ohio. You will be based in an open-cast mine. The role involves: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
