Requirements: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage On a typical shift you will grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles.
