Fusing press operator wanted in Pennington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Pennington County, South Dakota. You will be based at a garment factory. The role involves: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
