Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Franklin County, Texas. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
