Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Scott County, Mississippi. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day to day you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go.
