Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Williamson County, Illinois. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift.
