Your main tasks: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
