Vacancy available: dry lining plasterer (Louisiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a busy domestic building site. Day to day you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
