Sausage maker — Sampson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Sampson County, North Carolina. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry On a typical shift you will mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
