Site carpenter — Highland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site carpenter in Highland County, Virginia. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On the job you will handle: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Good eye for detail and a clean finish At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
