Rebar fixer — Merrimack County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. The role involves: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
