Lathe operator — Cascade County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Cascade County, Montana. You will be based at an auto-parts workshop. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage The role involves follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing.
