Urgent requirement: we are hiring a retail butcher in Ben Hill County, Georgia. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Your main tasks: • Season and marinate meat on request • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
