What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat The role involves: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up 6+ years on the tools preferred.
