Steel erection rigger — Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Grant County, Indiana. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
