Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Gray County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
