Head baker — Egbeda

Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Egbeda, Oyo State. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving The role involves: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
