Precision welder wanted in Cameron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Cameron County, Texas. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
