Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On the job you will handle: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
