Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in Culpeper County, Virginia. You will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
