We are recruiting: formwork carpenter (Ohio)

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Huron County, Ohio. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
