Immediate opening: foundry operative (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Kendall County, Texas. You will be based on the moulding line. Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
