Foundry worker wanted in Montrose County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Montrose County, Colorado. You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills 4+ years on the tools preferred.
