Formwork joiner — Harrison County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Harrison County, Ohio. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Full-time with occasional weekends.
