Lift installation engineer — Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Franklin County, Illinois. Day to day you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
