Marble fitter — Henderson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Henderson County, North Carolina. You will work at a marble and granite workshop. Day to day you will cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; work from cutting lists and installation drawings; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
