Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Jefferson County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
