Metal caster — Beltrami County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Beltrami County, Minnesota. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
