Crane operator wanted in Obion County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Obion County, Tennessee. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift 4+ years on the tools preferred.
